This anime came in the year 1995. The plot is about some dangerous monsters appearing on earth with the sole intention of killing humans.
The protagonist who is a teenager is required to fight these monsters, using bio-machine mechas known as Evangelion or EVA'S. In the EVA'S real robot weaponry meets super robot mysticism. The Neon Genesis Evangelion is a giant in the sci-fi anime genre.
You could even go so far as to say that this anime was the genesis of the sci-fi anime genre.
The series is mostly applauded for its stunning artwork, nail biting mysteries and of course a varied range of technology. There is an uncanny resemblance between the machines and the
humans, but machines here surpasses the humans in their capacity for destruction as you might expect.
