The WAP Ultimate takes the performance of the incredibly popular Chillblast WAP "Work and Play" range to the next level. Armed with the powerful AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, the WAP Ultimate boasts extremely rapid performance for every day computing tasks. Unlike its less powerful siblings, the WAP uses modular components for storage and memory, so the capability of the unit can grow with your requirements. As standard, the WAP Ultimate 3500U has 4GB of DDR4 memory, a 250GB M.2 SSD and comes with Windows 11 Home as standard. There are now significant storage expansion capabilities; as well as the 2.5" drive mount there is also an M.2 NVME 2280 SSD slot. We’ve also upgraded the connectivity of the unit to provide three high speed USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 slots and dual HDMI ports for support of two displays via the integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics. These improvements dramatically increase the flexibility and potential application base for these powerful, flexible micro systems. As with all generations of WAP, the units are incredibly compact, only a little larger than a portable hard drive, enabling them to be mounted on the reverse of a VESA-equipped monitor.
